OAU Releases Post-UTME Results

Less than four hours after the conduct of its post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) screening exercise, the authorities of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, have released the results of all the candidates who participated in the exercise.

“Out of 35,823 candidates who took part in the screening exercise, which was based on 400 marks, only 7,663 candidates scored above 200, of which 51 candidates scored above 300” ,the public relations officer of the university, Abiodun Olarewaju, said

The spokesman also went ahead to clarify that three candidates Ayansola Oluwaseun Joshua (UME form no: 2604698BH/13940), Kolapo Ismail Abidemi (UME form no: 26328328HJ/15158) and Ogunlade Stephen Tayo (UME form no: 25457115HI /32882)exhibited exceptional academic brilliance in the screening exercise, by scoring 332, 335,and 337 respectively.

While Ayansola opted to read Law, Kolapo went for Medicine and Surgery and Ogunlade wanted to study Biochemistry,

Olarewaju, therefore, advised all those who sat for the exercise to start checking their results.

UNILAG POST-UME SCREENING PROCEDURE

1. Candidates are to pay at the following banks:
ECOBANK, FIRST BANK, UNION BANK, ZENITH
BANK,ACCESS BANK, UBA, GTB AND WEMA
BANK.
2. Screening Fee – N 1,500, Checking of Result – N
500 (Optional), Revision Questions and Online
Practice Test – N2,000 (Optional)
3. 24 hours after Payment, log on to
http://www.unilag.edu.ng, Click on the 2013/2014
POST-UTME under Prospective Students to print
your Exam Pass
4. E-practise password on your Exam Pass allows
you to take an Online e-practice test
5. A copy of the revision question can also be
downloaded
6. All candidates who scored 200 and above and
have made UNILAG their FIRST CHOICE
Institution in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation
Examinations (UTME) are eligible for the
screening.
7. In addition, candidates must possess five (5)
credit passes in relevant ‘O’ level subjects
including Mathematics and English Language at
ONE sitting. Candidates awaiting results are also
eligible.
8. Candidates, who will not be sixteen (16) years of
age by October 31, 2013 are not eligible and
need not apply.
9. The Post UTME screening exercise will take place
between Monday, July 22 and Wednesday, July
24, 2013
10. The online registration for the University of
Lagos Post-UTME Screening Exercise for
Admission into ALL COURSES/PROGRAMMES for
the 2013/2014 Academic Year closes on Sunday,
July 14, 2013.
11. The Computer Based Test (CBT) Screening
Exercise is in the Use of English, Mathematics
and General Paper.
12. Candidates are advised to adhere strictly to the
guidelines and make necessary clarifications as
deemed fit.
